PL258 Jack to Jack Couplers are built to have female UHF jacks on both ends. These connectors are made of nickel plated brass. Most commonly, these adapters are used to connect two PL258 plugs or as a gender changer. The PL258 Jack to Jack coupler is designed to handle a frequency of DC-500 MHz. They also offer a voltage rating of 500V peak. An important characteristic of these connectors is they offer non-constant impedance. For the purpose of mating, these coupler connectors have 5/8-24 threading. Selecting the correct coaxial connector is not an easy task.
