Construction

They have a simple but unique design whereby they have a bare copper conductor which may be solid or stranded which is class A and AA respectively. The stranding is in accordance to ASTM B-3 and B-8 for concentric lay strands. It is also available in hard tempers, slightly hard or soft. The stranded conductors are concentrically stranded in rope lay into hard or slightly hard tempers and are cabled together in unilay strands inside the soft-drawn temper.

When we talk of bare tinned copper wire it is mainly copper that has been added a thin layer of tin to it. It is mostly used in insulators for overhead transmission and grounding of electric current. The copper wire is relatively stranded to enhance its flexibility. The copper conductor can be available in soft, medium hard or even uncoated hard copper conductor. The concentric lay wire cable has unsurpassed flexibility due to its amazing flexibility.
