22 AWG 4 Conductor Shielded Multi Conductor Cable
Also Known As:
Multi conductor Cable, PVC jacket Cable, PVC insulation Cable, Shielded Cable, stranded tinned copper, Grey jacket
About:
Shielded multi conductor cables are used for a variety of purposes. These include things like consumer electronics and industrial process control equipment. They are also used in advanced signal transmissions in controlled environments. What does all of that mean Well, it basically means that shielded multi conductor 22 AWG cable is used for controlling equipment. By using shielded multi conductor cable you are given the option of selecting between 2 to 15 conductors. Why use shielded multi conductor 22 AWG cable In many industrial environments, there is a lot going on. What I mean is that there is usually a lot of equipment with a multitude of wires in a given facility. This can lead to EMI (electromagnetic interference) often called RFI (radio frequency interference). EMI/RFI can reduce the performance of a circuit. In some cases, it can even stop the circuit from functioning. This is where shielded multi conductor 22 AWG cable comes in. The shielding works in two different ways. First, the shield can actually reflect a lot of the energy. This prevents it from interrupting the circuit. Second, the shielding can help to conduct some of that energy to the ground. Both of these actions make sure that the EMI/RFI does not reach the conductors. These cables meet the current requirements for UL, CSA, and NEC. Temperatures and voltages may not be the same from cable to cable.
