The TD700S Thermodynamic Steam Trap is primarily used as a drip trap on steam mains and supply lines. It can also be applied in steam tracing systems, although thermostatic traps are generally preferred for that purpose. Equipped with an integral strainer and an optional blowdown valve, it provides effective protection against contamination. The trap's internal mechanism is fully replaceable without removing the body from the pipeline, allowing for convenient in-line maintenance. Built for outdoor use in freezing conditions and capable of handling superheated steam, the TD700S is forged from steel with full material traceability (MTR), making it an excellent choice for petroleum industry applications.
