The TD700S Thermodynamic Steam Trap is widely used as a drip trap on steam mains and supply lines and is also applicable in steam tracing systems, although thermostatic traps are generally preferred for that purpose. It includes an integral strainer and an optional blowdown valve to guard against contamination, ensuring reliable operation. The trap’s internal mechanism is fully replaceable without removing the body from the line, allowing for convenient in-line maintenance. Forged from steel with full material traceability (MTR), the TD700S is built to withstand outdoor environments, including freezing conditions and superheated steam, making it an excellent choice for the petroleum industry.
