About:
• Substation Stranded Bare Copper Unshielded XLPE PVC 600/1000V Control Cable is a high-performance control cable designed for use in power distribution and control circuits in substations. It is engineered to provide reliable signal transmission and withstand harsh environmental conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Application:
• For utility and industrial control circuits where low-loss, highly flame-retardant cables are desired. They are semi-flexible, suitable for AC or DC use in dry or wet locations and can be used as aerial cables, installed in conduit or trays or can be directly buried. The crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors have excellent physical and electrical properties; the PVC jacket offers superior oil, chemical and moisture resistance. These cables can be manufactured to meet the requirements of the ICEA 70,000 and 210,000 BTU/hr vertical tray flame tests as detailed in ICEA T-29-520 and T-30-520. 1000 volt rated versions are available.

• IEC 60502-1: Power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories for rated voltages from 1 kV (Um=1.2 kV) up to 30 kV (Um=36 kV)
• BS 6622: Specification for power cables with XLPE insulation and for rated voltages from 3.8/6.6 kV to 19/33 kV
• IEEE 383: Standard for type test of class 1E electric cables, field splices, and connections for nuclear power generating stations
• ASTM B8: Standard specification for concentric-lay-stranded copper conductors
Construction:
