Application:

• Designed for use with mobile mining equipment, conveyors, drills and pumps, and portable power where equipment grounding is required. Type G-GC can also be used where a ground check conductor is required for fail-safe ground monitoring.

Construction:

Conductors: 

Tinned, annealed copper per ASTM B-33 Flexible, rope-lay

Separator: 

A paper tape is applied between the conductor and insulation to facilitate stripping.

Insulation:

Color coded 90°C ozone, oil (60°C) and water resistant (90°C) synthetic rubber (EPDM) per ICEA S-75-381

Assembly:

• 2- conductor Type G: Two conductors are assembled flat with one green insulated grounding conductor. An open reinforcement is applied over the assembly.
• 3- conductor Type G-GC: Three conductors are assembled flat with one green insulated grounding conductor and one yellow insulated ground check. An open reinforcement is applied over each power conductor.

Jacket: 

Extra-hard usage, oil-resistant thermoset jacket (Black) per ICEA S-75-381 for oil and sunlight resistance.
