• The Simply45® S45-1150 RJ45 shielded modular plug provides better signal isolation and terminated performance than other shielded RJ45 modular plugs for larger diameter Shielded LAN cables using PE (solid polyethylene) insulated wire conductors.

• Two-Piece Plug: Bar45® Load Bar. The exclusive Simply45® Bar45® are load bars designed to match specific Simply45® RJ45 modular plugs to improve termination performance and SIMPLIFY the termination process. The innovative S45-1150 Bar45® are designed specifically for our part S45-1150 and are the easiest-to-use load bars ever made for larger shielded LAN cables such as Cat6 STP and Cat6a F/UTP with PE insulated wires.

• Solid LAN Cables: The S45-1150 is ideal for most Cat6 STP (shielded twisted pair) solid and Cat6a F/UTP solid (PE insulated) 23 AWG LAN cables with a maximum cable diameter of 8.0mm (0.315”) and wire conductor sizes 1.10mm – 1.20mm (0.043” – 0.047”). The S45-1150 works great with larger LAN cable diameters such as found on Cat6 Shielded solid and Cat6a F/UTP (PE Insulated) solid.

• Color Tinted RJ45 Modular Plugs: The S45-1150 comes with a light green tint for easy pass-through RJ45 modular plug identification. No more trouble identifying which plug is which. All Simply45® RJ45 modular plugs are color-coded for easy identification.

• Color-Coded Jar Caps: The S45-1150 jar cap is Green matching the color tint of the RJ45 mod plug. This makes it very easy to find identify the items in your bag or kit. Saves time identifying the RJ45 modular plugs that you need to use.
