The Spectra Mini combines many features from full-size Spectra dome system into a compact, cost-effective form. Its high-resolution camera transmits video via coaxial cables or unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wires. When used with active UTP receivers, it can deliver high-quality video across distances of up to 4,000 feet (1,219 meters). The system supports pan/tilt functionality using controllers, which transmit D, P, or Coaxitron protocols. Additionally, on-screen programming simplifies the setup of the dome's many features. The Spectra Mini offers variable speed controls, ranging from fast pan motions of 140 degrees per second to a smooth "creep" speed of 0.4 degrees per second. It also features continuous 360-degree rotation and an auto flip function, which enables the dome to rotate 180 degrees and reposition itself, ensuring uninterrupted tracking of subjects passing directly beneath the camera.
