Shipboard Cable C14XT-14 14 AWG 14 Conductor Aluminum Foil Tape Polyester
Applications:
Type XT electrical cables are designed for navy commercial marine ships outside of the United States. The electrical cables are typically used on workboats, tugs, fishing boats, casino boats, and other commercial vessels. Moreover, these cables are suitable for oil rig applications. Another possible application is a signal transmission. Individual or overall group shielding may be provided by means of a tape and drain (ground) wire or a tinned copper braid, or a combination of both to prevent electrostatic and/or electromagnetic interference. The cable is suitable to be installed in trays, troughs, channels, conduit, and wireways. TPS cables pass the IEEE-383 and IEEE Standard 1202 flammability test.
