Application:
These cables have insulated conductors manufactured with a combination of silicone and glass braids which provide circuit integrity in case of a catastrophic fire. All constructions are watertight with the exception of slant sheets 71 thru 73. The overall jacket is an irradiation cross-linked low smoke polyolefin for all slant sheets except 26 which is a low smoke red silicone rubber. The silicone rubber jacketed cables are armored with an aluminum braid to provide mechanical protection.
Conductor:
• Stranded uncoated copper conductor, extruded silicone rubber, glass braided covering. Seven conductors cabled consecutively with fillers, binder or combination binder/barrier.
Insulation:
• Watertight silicone and glass braids.
Jacket:
• Irradiation XL low smoke polyolefin. /26 is a low smoke red silicone rubber.
