Applications:
Type TXW electrical cables are suitable for non-flexing, watertight applications. Recommended waterproof applications are ranked 25 psi. TXW cables are mostly used in power and control systems on the board of the ship. Do not use if circuit parameters call for another specific type of cable. Parameters may include audio frequencies, microphone specifications, and others.
The electrical cable meets the one-hour flame circuit integrity standard. Other standards met are EMP response and surface transfer impedance. The maximum recommended temperature is 150°C. TXW electrical cable has a voltage rating of 600 volts.

A stranded bare copper conductor. Three conductors are connected with an optional binder tape.
Insulation:
Composite tape wrapped insulation includes a mica-glass polyimide tape (Kapton®) and polyimide-FEP tape with polyimide coating. Polyimide insulations are known for their light weight, flexibility, and excellent resistance to high temperatures and chemicals.
Jacket:
A cross-linked polyolefin low-smoke zero-halogen jacket with a surface marking. It has excellent fire and UV resistance. The jacket has excellent ecological properties and is generally non-toxic in the event of a fire.
