The PRX-3 is a high-performance 125 KHz proximity reader with a compact design and a read range of up to 16 inches, making it ideal for parking control, gate access, and turnstiles It transmits data in 26-Bit Wiegand format, ensuring compatibility with Wiegand-equipped Viking entry controllers Designed for versatile mounting, it can be installed on walls, posts, single-gang electrical boxes, or Viking gooseneck pedestals using an optional kit, with adjustable slots for easy leveling.

Its durable, vandal-resistant chassis features concealed mounting screws and a UV-stable label, while Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) ensures reliable performance in outdoor environments exposed to precipitation or condensation.
