VideoXpert is an all-in-one video management system (VMS) designed for easy setup and robust monitoring, ideal for small to medium-sized applications. Optimized for Windows platforms, VideoXpert is simple to install and offers an intuitive interface, allowing operators to manage video feeds effectively. Available as a custom hardware solution or software distribution, VideoXpert integrates seamlessly with existing VMS infrastructures. It offers various storage configurations, including RAID 6, RAID 5, and JBOD, to meet diverse needs for retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance. Channel-based licensing enables users to pay only for the capacity they need, optimizing costs. Supporting both unicast and multicast transmission modes, VideoXpert adapts to various network environments. Power 3 Series Server models include Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage tools, allowing remote configuration and monitoring to minimize the need for physical server access. iDRAC also provides SNMP-based alerts, supporting proactive hardware management. VideoXpert Professional includes VxToolbox, an easy-to-use Windows application for configuring networks of servers and cameras, whether locally or remotely. VxPro also features predefined roles, simplifying user creation and permissions setup for efficient surveillance operations. The VxOpsCenter client software offers a straightforward interface with minimal training requirements, supporting multi-system access so one workstation can manage multiple servers. VxOpsCenter also supports modular plugins, enhancing functionality with features like informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites, and a built-in mapping application to improve situational awareness. Built on open standards, VideoXpert includes a full API, SDK, and dedicated technical support, making it compatible with third-party systems. Administrators can also migrate existing Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, repurposing infrastructure and gaining VideoXpert’s advanced capabilities. Additionally, VideoXpert Professional supports Digital Sentry storage for recording, preserving archived video and providing access to expanded VideoXpert features.
