VideoXpert is an all-in-one video management system (VMS) designed for seamless setup and reliable monitoring, ideal for small to medium-sized applications. Developed for Windows platforms, VideoXpert is quick to install and features an intuitive interface, making video management easy for operators. Available as tailored hardware or software, VideoXpert integrates smoothly with existing VMS infrastructure. It offers flexible storage configurations, including RAID 6, RAID 5, and JBOD, to support varying needs for data retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance. With channel-based licensing, users pay only for the capacity they require, optimizing costs. The system supports both unicast and multicast transmission modes, adapting easily to different network setups. Power 3 Series Server models are equipped with Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage tools, enabling administrators to configure and monitor servers remotely, reducing the need for physical access. iDRAC also provides SNMP-based alerts, enabling proactive hardware monitoring. VideoXpert Professional includes VxToolbox, a Windows application that simplifies network configuration of servers and cameras, whether local or remote. VxPro also features predefined roles, allowing for efficient user creation and permissions setup, tailored for standard surveillance operations. The VxOpsCenter client software offers a user-friendly interface that requires minimal training, supporting multi-system access so one workstation can manage multiple servers. Additionally, VxOpsCenter supports modular plugins that enhance functionality with features like informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites, and a built-in mapping tool for enhanced situational awareness. Built on open standards, VideoXpert includes a comprehensive API, SDK, and dedicated technical support, allowing third-party integrations. Administrators can also migrate Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, repurposing existing infrastructure and extending its capabilities with VideoXpert. Furthermore, VideoXpert Professional can use Digital Sentry storage hardware for recording, preserving archived video and providing access to VideoXpert’s expanded features.
