VideoXpert is an integrated video management system (VMS) designed for simple setup and effective monitoring, ideal for small to medium-sized applications. Optimized for Windows platforms, VideoXpert offers quick installation and an intuitive interface, making it easy for operators to manage and view captured video. Available as both custom hardware and software, VideoXpert integrates seamlessly with existing VMS infrastructures, offering flexible storage configurations RAID 6, RAID 5, or JBOD to meet data retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance requirements. Channel-based licensing lets users pay only for the capacity they need, optimizing cost. The system supports unicast and multicast transmission modes, adapting easily to different network environments. Power 3 Series Server models come equipped with Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage tools, enabling remote server configuration and monitoring, reducing the need for physical access. iDRAC also provides SNMP support for hardware monitoring and email alerts. Included in VideoXpert Professional, VxToolbox is a Windows application that simplifies configuring servers and cameras across networks, whether locally or remotely. VxPro includes predefined roles, streamlining user creation and permissions, making setup efficient. The VxOpsCenter client software has a user-friendly interface requiring minimal training, supporting multi-system access so a single workstation can manage multiple servers. VxOpsCenter also offers modular plugins for added functionality, such as informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites, and a built-in mapping application for enhanced situational awareness. Built on open standards, VideoXpert provides a full API, SDK, and dedicated technical support, enabling third-party integration. Administrators can also migrate Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, maximizing the value of existing infrastructure and benefiting from advanced features. VideoXpert Professional can use Digital Sentry storage hardware for recording, preserving archived video while providing access to VideoXpert’s enhanced capabilities.
