Operating on Windows platforms, VideoXpert offers a user-friendly interface, allowing operators to access and manage video footage with ease. Available as tailored hardware or software, VideoXpert integrates seamlessly with existing VMS infrastructures. VideoXpert offers flexible storage configurations, including RAID 6, RAID 5, and JBOD, to meet varying retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance needs. With channel-based licensing, users pay only for the required capacity, optimizing cost efficiency. Supporting both unicast and multicast modes, VideoXpert adapts to diverse network configurations. Power 3 Series Server models include Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage tools, allowing remote configuration and management to minimize physical server access. With iDRAC, administrators can monitor hardware and receive SNMP-based email alerts for proactive system management. Included with VideoXpert Professional, VxToolbox is an intuitive Windows application for configuring networks of servers and cameras locally or remotely. Predefined roles in VxPro streamline user creation and permission assignments, making setup quick and easy. The VxOpsCenter client software features a simple interface that requires minimal training, supporting multi-system access so that a single workstation can control multiple servers. VxOpsCenter also supports modular plugins, offering additional features like informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), and Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites, along with a built-in mapping tool for comprehensive situational awareness. Built on open standards, VideoXpert includes a full API, SDK, and dedicated technical support, enabling third-party integrations. Administrators can migrate existing Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, extending the use of current infrastructure with the advanced capabilities of VideoXpert. Additionally, VideoXpert Professional can leverage Digital Sentry storage hardware for recording, preserving archived video while providing access to new VideoXpert features.
