The VXP-P2-0-XN from Pelco is a Power 2 Server network video recorder (NVR) within the VideoXpert platform, supplied without a hard drive. VideoXpert is an all-in-one video management system (VMS) designed to simplify setup and deliver reliable monitoring in small to medium-scale environments. Built for Windows, the system is easy to install, quick to configure, and provides a user-friendly interface for operators to manage and view video footage seamlessly. Available as a hardware or software solution, VideoXpert adapts to existing VMS setups with options for throughput and storage configurations, including RAID 6, RAID 5, or JBOD, to meet diverse needs for data retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance. The system uses a channel-based licensing model, allowing you to purchase only the number of channels required. Supporting both unicast and multicast transmission modes, VideoXpert easily integrates into various network configurations. The VxPro suite includes VxToolbox, a Windows application that enables rapid configuration of networks, servers, and cameras, both locally and remotely. With predefined user roles aligned with common surveillance tasks, VxPro simplifies user creation and role assignment. Also included is VxOpsCenter client software, which offers an intuitive interface that requires little to no training. For multi-system access, VxOpsCenter enables a single workstation to connect with multiple servers, enhancing scalability. Modular plugins expand functionality, providing integration for external systems such as informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), analytics (including Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites), and a built-in mapping application, creating a comprehensive, scalable surveillance solution.
