DESCRIPTION:
Berk-Tek’s Armor-Tek interlocking armored fiber cables consist of a standard tightbuffered or loose-tube fiber cable with an aluminum or steel spirally wrapped armor
encasing it. The cable is then covered with a plenum- or riser-rated jacket.
FEATURES:
• Jacketed armor that remains flexible due to the spiral wrap armoring process
• Aluminum interlock offers 10 to 13 times the crush resistance of a standard fiber cable
• Steel interlock offers 12 to 19 times the crush resistance of a standard fiber cable
• RoHS compliant; high tensile strength for installation of cable
• Compact outside diameters when compared to plenum innerduct or conduit
• Available in tight buffer up to 144 fibers and in loose tube up to 432 fibers
