The SmartNode IpChannelBank 12 FXO VoIP Gateway Router features dual 10/100bTX ports and redundant UI power. It includes built-in Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities, offering voice prioritization and traffic management through configurable service-policy profiles. Patton’s advanced DownStreamQoS guarantees clear, uninterrupted voice communication, even over best-effort networks like the Internet. With packet classification using 802.1p, TOS, and DiffServ, integrating with existing managed QoS networks is straightforward. The SN4900 Series also allows for custom security profiles, ensuring a robust security environment. IPSec in the SN4900 Series provides data integrity, authentication, anti-replay, and data confidentiality, while firewall features include Access Control Lists (ACLs), IP address and port filtering, and protection against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, with a second Ethernet port available for use as a DMZ.
