Specification
The Multi-Bay Attachment Tube joins two or more Leviton Wireless Structured Media™ Center Enclosures to create a multi-bay enclosure system. It provides flexibility to accommodate installations that have more components than a single enclosure can hold, or applications where there is a need to separate provider and customer equipment.
About:
Multi-Bay Attachement Tube shall be molded from white flame-retardand ABS, rated UL 94 V-0. Tube shall install into two-inch knockouts of Leviton Wireless Structured Media Centers, allowing two such enclosures to be joined. Tube shall allow for easy passthrough of communications cabling.
Common Applications:
• Retail Display Fixtures: In retail environments, they can be used to connect different shelving or display components, creating customized and flexible display areas that can be reconfigured as needed.
• Trade Show Booths: These tubes are integral to the construction of trade show displays, allowing for the quick assembly and disassembly of booths with multiple bays for different products or presentations.
• Warehouse Racking: In warehousing, they might be used to extend or join shelving units, maximizing storage space and allowing for the creation of long, continuous rows of racking.
• Office Workstations: For modular office furniture, such as cubicles or desk systems, these tubes can help attach various panels or surfaces together, creating multi-bay workstations that can be easily reorganized.
• Audio/Visual Equipment Stands: Multi-bay attachment tubes can be used in the assembly of A/V equipment stands, enabling the stacking or joining of multiple levels or sections for different devices.
Features:
• Material: They are often made from metals such as aluminum or steel, which provide strength and durability. The choice of material affects the weight, strength, and corrosion resistance of the tube.
• Finish: The surface treatment or finish (such as powder coating, anodizing, or galvanizing) can enhance durability, resist corrosion, and provide a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
• Modularity: Designed for easy assembly and disassembly, allowing structures to be quickly reconfigured or expanded without extensive labor or the use of specialized tools.
• Adjustability: Some models may offer telescoping or adjustable features to accommodate different lengths or to fine-tune the size for a precise fit.
• Compatibility: Designed to work seamlessly with specific systems or a range of components, ensuring that they can integrate into existing structures or accommodate standard sizes of shelving, racking, or other elements.
Standards:
• UL (Underwriters Laboratories): If the attachment tubes are part of a system involving electrical components or are used in environments with fire hazards, UL standards may be relevant.
• ISO 9001: For quality management systems, this standard ensures that the processes that go into the manufacturing of the tubes meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive): If the tubes are used in electrical and electronic equipment, they would need to comply with RoHS, which restricts the use of specific hazardous materials.
Specification:
• Materials : ABS plastic, UL 94 V-0
• Color: White
Construction:
The construction of a Multi-Bay Attachment Tube involves several aspects to ensure it is functional, durable, and meets the specific needs of its intended applications.Tubes are typically cylindrical but can be square or rectangular based on structural needs. The dimensions will vary according to the application requirements
