Maney Strand Bare Copper Unshielded XLPE 50V SGX Battery Cable
Application:
SGX battery cables are constructed of high-quality copper stranded cable. SGX battery cables can also be used in temperatures up to 125°C (257°F). Additionally, our SGX battery cables meet SAE J1127 Specifications.
Maney Wire’s SGX battery cables are cross-link polyethylene (XLPE) insulated, and are resistant to abrasion, cracking and a variety of chemicals including gasoline, oils, diesel fuels, grease, and acid.
SGX battery cables are highly recommended for applications where higher durability and high heat resistance is required such as in engine compartments of vehicles. Moreover, SGX is superior to SGT because it will not melt when exposed to heat.
