Mil-Spec wire and cable carrying a variety of the Mil-W-22759 wire specification (M22759). Used in commercial and military applications, these high performance wires meet requirements for small dimensions, high temperature resistance, low weight and low flame propagation. This specification covers fluoropolymer-insulated single conductor electrical wires made with tin-coated, silver-coated, or nickel coated conductors of copper or copper alloy.

M22759/1 is first covered with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tape and PTFE coated fiberglass tape, then a PTFE coated fiberglass braid and finished with a PTFE resin making it extra abrasion resistant. Ideal for applications where wire must operate in extremely harsh environments, under vibration and open flame exposure.
