The SD429-HPE1 from is a heavy-duty Spectra dome system designed for installations where structural integrity and vandal resistance are critical. Its dual-wall construction, added thickness, and geometric design enhance the overall durability of the enclosure. The environmental pendant model (BB4HD-PG-E) is reinforced with a thick shroud and dual-wall construction, meeting NEMA Type 4X and IP66 standards for durability and weather resistance. The environmental pendant also includes a built-in heater and fan to maintain optimal operating conditions. This heavy-duty Spectra system retains all the features of the Spectra IV SE dome system, including built-in back box memory, two auxiliary outputs, seven alarm inputs, and an integrated passive UTP circuit. It is fully compatible with all Spectra IV SE dome drives. The lower dome meets rigorous standards for optical clarity and strength, featuring a 0.090-inch clear polycarbonate bubble that is 3.5 times stronger than previous heavy-duty versions. The aluminum trim ring is designed with two barrel-type key locks to increase tamper resistance, making this system ideal for high-security, vandal-prone environments.
