Product Information

Specification

Description:

The SIP-based RFID/Keypad Secure Access Control Endpoint utilizes the existing VoIP or PoE network infrastructure to securely control the locking and unlocking of gates or doors. Powered by PoE and housed in a secure, outdoor-rated enclosure, this endpoint can store up to 500 access codes. It features a blacklist function that triggers a phone call and plays a pre-recorded message or broadcasts a multicast message to IP speakers when registered with the VoIP server. Both the authorized and blacklisted code lists can be updated via the web interface or remotely auto-provisioned by a server.

Security:

CyberData has enhanced the security of its RFID products by implementing AES128 encryption for data transmitted between the card and the reader. This ensures that hackers cannot intercept or duplicate the card's data to gain unauthorized access.

Card Authentication:

When a card is read, an extra security measure is taken. The reader and the card engage in a complex mathematical process to compare encrypted security keys, known as Mutual Authentication. This process ensures that communication between the card and the reader cannot be copied to create a duplicate card. If the keys match, the reader extracts the encrypted data from the card to verify if it is active in the system. If the keys do not match, the card will be rejected.
