The Viking C-3000 Telephone Entry System utilizes existing building telephone wiring to provide secure access for multi-tenant buildings without requiring CO lines, as long as each tenant has a touchtone phone Suitable for applications with or without CO lines, a single C-3000 module supports up to 12 tenants, and up to eight modules can be interconnected to accommodate a total of 96 tenants The system includes at least one Master C-3000 module and can expand with up to seven Slave modules for larger installations.

Visitors can ring tenants from two entry doors with a distinctive cadence, and the system provides call waiting tones if the tenant’s line is busy Tenants can communicate with visitors through their existing phones and grant access by entering a single touch tone.
