The Algo 8196 is a public address and notification device that is SIP compliant and multicast-capable and is certified for native compatibility with Microsoft Teams via the Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway! Up to three satellite speakers can be connected for increased coverage, sharing the 16W of audio power available In most cases, the Algo 8196 is utilized in conjunction with a single satellite speaker connected through a standard patch cable.

Only one network drop is required in this application, minimizing installation time, labor costs, and licensing requirements Each speaker produces 8 watts of audio power Up to three satellite speakers can be connected to one 8196 speaker in applications where the needed output is lowered, resulting in greater cost savings Satellite speakers perform in the same way as the 8196 speakers The Algo 8196 works with well-known leading SIP-based premise or hosted UC platforms, leading mass notification software platforms, Group Page, and standard RTP multicast.
