The MAXIMUS MVXT explosion-proof camera is designed for efficient and preventive video surveillance and process control in hazardous environments where explosive atmospheres may result from flammable gases or dust. It is ideally suited for applications in the Oil & Gas, marine, and industrial sectors. The compact and functional housing is constructed entirely from durable AISI 316L stainless steel, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance enhanced through specialized polishing processes. The camera operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -60°C to +65°C, thanks to its advanced cold start system, making it ideal for extreme conditions. With IP66 and IP68 ratings, the camera provides complete protection against harsh weather and submersion in up to 5 meters of water for 2 hours. Additionally, its IP69 rating allows for cleaning with high-pressure water jets. The MAXIMUS MVX series is Lloyd’s Register Type Approval System Test Specification Number 1 certified, enabling its use in marine and offshore environments within categories ENV1, ENV2, ENV3, and ENV5. The IP-based cameras are equipped with radiometric functions for temperature detection using the central 4 pixels of the image. Advanced radiometric versions are available on request, enabling precise temperature measurement of specific objects within defined areas.
