About :

Cold Shrink Shielded Splice Kit 5550 Series are for splicing 5 kV and 8 kV shielded, solid dielectric, power cables.

The Cold Shrink Shielded Splice Kit 5550 Series includes all the necessary materials (excluding connectors and optional ground strap) to create three single-conductor splices on Tape Shield, Wire Shield, or UniShield® cables. This versatile kit is also suitable for splicing a shielded to a non-shielded 5/8 kV cable. Please note that the applicable cable sizes listed are based on standard insulation thickness, with the final suitability determined by the cable insulation's outside diameter.
