Description:

This 3-Port PCI Express FireWire card includes a low-profile bracket for small form factor PCs and an optional full-size bracket for standard PC cases. Installing in a PCIe slot, it adds two IEEE1394b (FireWire 800 – 9 pin) ports and one IEEE1394a (FireWire 400 – 6 pin) port, offering broad compatibility with devices such as DV camcorders, external hard drives, and digital cameras. Featuring a native single-chip PCI Express chipset, the 2× FireWire 800 and 1× FireWire 400 card delivers faster, more reliable, and cost-effective performance compared to cards that use a bridge chip.
