Springer Controls-MERZ switches are available in models from 16 amp to 125 amp. These UL certified switches are suitable for residential and industrial applications. This item is a 4-screw, front-panel mounting-cam switch. Both the switch and the handle are attached to the panel or wall by these four screwsCam switches, according to their contact arrangement, are fitted with switching chambers with 1, 2, or 3 (series 111 only) double interrupted conduct paths. Each conduct path is arranged of 2 firmly seated terminals and one mobile contact bridge which is guided by a plunger. The contact bridge is positively opened by the cam and closed by a spring. The indexing device is available in different torques and 4 different switching angles. The finger proof cam switches are equipped with screws with captive plus-minus screw heads. All terminals are fitted with screwdriver guiding, funnel-shaped cable entries and chamber like design.
