Description:
• The Chemtrol blind flange is an injection molded natural Kynar® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thermoplastic fitting. Natural Kynar® (PVDF) fittings are ideal for use with ultra-pure water, deionized/distilled and demineralized water systems, clean chemical processes, pharmaceutical operations, and food processing. The Chemtrol® blind flange features a one-piece solid design with oblong bolt holes. Chemtrol® PVDF fittings are lightweight, easy to install, and maintenance-free. Chemtrol® fittings connect piping lengths together with thermo-seal fusion joining, threading, or flanging to create a highly reliable, leak-free system. Chemtrol® Kynar® natural PVDF exhibits superior strength, working temperature, and chemical resistance characteristics. Natural pigment provides UV protection. Kynar® PVDF offers versatile chemical resistance to slats, strong acids, dilute bases, and many organic solvents such as aromatics, aliphatic and chlorinated groups. PVDF is also ideally suited for handling wet or dry chlorine bromine and other halogens.
