Description:

This depth adapter kit allows you to extend or reduce the mounting depth of a single 1U space in your server rack by up to four inches. In a two-post installation, the extenders support a total weight of up to 10 lbs (4.5 kg). In a four-post installation, they can support up to 90 lbs (40 kg), and using two sets of extender brackets in a four-post setup maintains the same weight capacity.

You can use the rail depth adapter to mount equipment that has high-density cabling, such as patch panels, PDUs, or network switches, to minimize the effects of cable strain and provide easier access to the cables.
