Allowable Ampacity for 19 AWG 7T Stranded Tinned Copper Shield Foil Halogen-Free GAALSHIP BU(c) Offshore Cable:100 Amps
About:
The 19 AWG 7T Stranded Tinned Copper Shield Foil Halogen-Free GAALSHIP BU(c) Offshore Cable is designed for marine and offshore applications. It features stranded tinned copper conductors, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. The cable is protected by a foil shield for electromagnetic interference protection and is coated with halogen-free materials to produce minimal smoke and no toxic gases in case of fire. This makes it ideal for environments where safety and reliability are critical.
Also Known As:
• Marine Grade Control Cable
• Halogen-Free Shielded Cable
• Offshore Communication Cable
Application:
• Marine Equipment: Used in ships and offshore platforms for instrumentation, communication, and control systems.
• Harsh Environments: Ideal for applications where exposure to sea water, oils, and chemicals is common.
• Safety-Critical Systems: Employed in fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and other safety equipment due to its low smoke and non-toxic properties during a fire.
Standards:
• IEC 60092-350: Specifies construction and testing requirements for offshore shipboard power and telecommunication cables.
