16 AWG 4P Stranded TC Shield EPR Individual Foil Halogen-Free GAALSHIP RU(i) Offshore Cable
Allowable Ampacity for 16 AWG 4P Stranded TC Shield EPR Individual Foil Halogen-Free GAALSHIP RU(i) Offshore Cable:100 Amps
About:
This cable is designed with a 16 AWG (American Wire Gauge) stranded tinned copper conductor, making it well-suited for electrical applications requiring flexibility and corrosion resistance. It features Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) insulation for excellent dielectric strength and chemical resistance. The individual foil shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference, essential for maintaining signal integrity in complex electrical systems. Being halogen-free, it does not emit toxic gases or smoke when exposed to high heat or fire, enhancing safety in enclosed environments like ships or offshore platforms.
Also Known As:
• 16 AWG Halogen-Free Offshore EPR Cable
• Stranded TC Foil Shielded Marine Cable
• EPR Insulated Offshore Control Cable
• Halogen-Free Foil Shielded Shipboard Cable
Application:
• Offshore platforms: Used in electrical and control systems where exposure to harsh environmental conditions is common.
• Marine vessels: Suitable for wiring in ships where salt water and moisture resistance are required.
• Industrial applications: Ideal for use in industrial environments where chemicals and extreme temperatures are a factor.
• Communication systems: Applied in communication lines where interference shielding is critical.
