The armor is available in aluminum and comes with an OFCP (plenum) rating. This design offers the system designer a product that can be installed in areas where added mechanical protection and security are required. The flexible interlock armored cable design is also popular for retrofit applications and eliminates the need to install rigid conduit while still meeting building code guidelines.
