Applications:
Tray XHHW Cable is designed for use for power distribution channels when voltage does not exceed 600 volts. It is a type of instrumentation cable which is insulated and jacketed for maximum chemical and mechanical protection. This cable has a long service life and can withstand harsh outdoor environmental conditions. The cable is printed with numbers and color-coded for easy identification.
This cable is used in raceway systems, cable trays, free air, and direct burial in:

The electrical cable is also suitable for NECClass 1 Division 2 hazardous locations. XHHW tray cable is equally effective as a power and control cable. The electrical cable is flame-retardant and has a temperature range of -55 C to 150 C. The cable is color-coded in E-1.

The cable has stranded tinned annealed B bare copper conductors that meet the requirements of ASTM B-8. The conductor is flexible and resistant to corrosion and chemicals.
Insulation:
Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) insulation is soft, flexible, and flame-retardant.
Jacket:
The cable has a thermoplastic chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) jacket, which is lead-free. It is flame-retardant and environmentally friendly, as it produces less smoke during the fire. CPE is also tough enough to withstand mechanical damages like abrasion.
