The Digital Sentry Network Video Recorder (DSSRV2) is expertly designed to support the DS NVs Video Management Software (VMS), offering a cost-efficient and integrated solution for video surveillance. Powered by a 4th Generation Intel Xeon processor and 8 GB of RAM, this NVR delivers exceptional processing power and reliability to handle high-definition video recording and playback. The DSSRV2 supports up to 128 combined IP and analog video streams, with compatibility for up to 64 analog cameras when paired with the optional ENC5516 direct-attached encoder. Additional support for analog streams is provided through and third-party encoders. With a total throughput of up to 350 Mbps (or 300 Mbps for JBOD models), the system efficiently manages recording, playback, and export via the DS Control Point client interface. Offering flexibility, the DSSRV2 can function as a stand-alone system or as part of a server network, with centralized management through the DS Control Point interface. For network optimization, the system features two gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing one port to connect IP cameras while the other handles client connections.
