Description

Polypropylene (PP) is a member of the polyolefin family. PP is one of the lightest plastics known. It possesses excellent chemical resistance to many acids, alkalies, and organic solvents. PP is one of the best materials to use for systems exposed to varying PH levels, as many plastics do not handle both acids and bases well. It is not recommended for use with hydrocarbons and aromatics. Its upper-temperature limit is 195° (90° C). Proline®  is available in 150 psi and 45 psi standard. Options in 90 psi are available.

Features

• Pipe and fittings are inventoried in 2 pressure-rated systems, both designed according to Standard Dimensional Ratio (SDR)
• Pressure ratings are de-rated at higher
• PRO 150 is an SDR11 system rated at 150 psi at 73°F
• PRO 45 is an SDR32 system rated at 45 psi at 73°F
• Able to withstand continuous operating temperatures ranging from 32° - 195°F
• Resists most organic and inorganic chemicals, many strong and weak acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and some aggressive gasses
