Description

PVC Large Diameter Fabricated Fittings are fabricated from schedule 40 PVC pipe from type 1, grade 1 PVC compound with a cell classification of 12454 per ASTM D1784. PVC large-diameter fabricated fitting can be ordered in sizes and configurations up to 30" in diameter.

Features

• Manufacturer pressure ratings must be strictly followed; many fabricated fittings do not carry the same pressure rating as a pipe.

• The maximum recommended fluid velocity is 5' per second.

• Other sizes and configurations are available up to 30" in diameter.

• Reduced pressure-rated fittings are available in most configurations at a lower cost.

• All PVC Schedule 40 pipe shall be manufactured from a Type 1, Grade 1 PVC compound with a Cell Classification of 12454 per ASTM D1784.

• Large diameter solvent cement assembly requires extra heavy duty slow setting cement and primer.

• Special tools are available for the proper assembly of large-diameter solvent-cemented piping systems.
