High-quality cable, from the series of GenSPEED CAT6 Cables, features 23 AWG (non-plenum) or 24 AWG (plenum) solid bare annealed copper conductors, with a divider separator for enhanced performance. The insulation consists of polyolefin for non-plenum and FEP/polyolefin for plenum-rated versions, with a rip cord applied longitudinally under the jacket for easy stripping. Color-coded pairs (Blue-White/Blue, Orange-White/Orange, Green-White/Green, Brown-White/Brown) simplify installation. The jacket is made of flame-retardant PVC for non-plenum and low-smoke, flame-retardant PVC for plenum. Designed for demanding applications such as IEEE 802.3 (1000 BASE-T, 100 BASE-TX, 10 BASE-T), PoE, PoE+, PoE++, ANSI/TIA 854 (1000 BASE-TX), and supports digital video, broadband, baseband analog, CDDI, Token Ring, and ATM systems.
