Application:

XLPE/AIA/PVC 600 Volt Control Type MC Cables provide an excellent crush resistance and a cost effective alternative to installations in conduit in commercial, industrial and utility applications as well as being Sunlight, Oil and Chemical resistant. They may be used in raceways, direct buried, free air and wet or dry locations at 90°C. Permitted and approved for use per NEC Article 330 for Class 1 Div 2, Class 2 Div 2, and Class 3 Div 1 & 2 industrial hazardous locations.

Two-hour Firewall rated; Sunlight resistant for CT use; Direct burial1, Oil resistant II

Conductors are Class B stranded copper, 30 mils, Type XHHW-2, phase identified, and cabled together with a bare copper ground conductor

The following standards will form part of this specification - UL 1569; Flame rated: IEEE-383 (70,000 BTU); ICEA T-29-520 (210,000 BTU); IEEE 1202/CSA FT-4.

Assembly:

Cable core covered with binder tape, aluminum or galvanized steel interlocked armor, with an overall flame and sunlight resistant PVC jacket. Jacket available under armor and in colors.
