About:
The TD700S Thermodynamic Steam Trap is commonly used as a drip trap on steam mains and supply lines and is also suitable for steam tracing applications, although thermostatic traps are generally preferred for tracing. Constructed from forged chrome-moly steel with full material traceability (MTR), the TD700S is ideal for demanding environments such as those found in the petroleum industry. Its robust design is suitable for outdoor installations exposed to freezing temperatures and superheated steam. Additionally, the internal mechanism can be fully replaced without removing the trap body from the line, allowing for convenient in-line maintenance.
Also Known As:
TD Steam Trap With Strainer, Disc Steam Trap With Strainer, Steam Trap With Strainer, Steam Trap With Integral Strainer, Impulse Steam Trap With Strainer, Steam Trap With Strainer NPT.
Features:
• Suitable for superheated steam
• "Quick-Replace" capsule design for easy in-line repair
• Non-integral seat and chrome-moly body allow for trap to be welded in-line
• Trap will function in any orientation (horizontal preferred)
• Freeze-proof when trap is piped in a vertical orientation for complete drainage of condensate
• Integral strainer with optional blowdown valve to protect trap from contamination
• High pressure applications up to 600 PSIG for TD700S and up to 650 PSIG for TDF700S
• Hardened stainless steel seat and disc for extended service life even at high pressure
• Single trap will operate over the entire pressure range 4-600 PSIG for TD700S and range 4-650 PSIG for TDF700S (recommended above 30 PSI)
