The FTT Series steam traps, designed with in-line pipe connections, efficiently remove condensate and air in both HVAC and industrial process systems. They are ideal for use with equipment such as unit heaters, water heaters, pressing machines, heat exchangers, and coils. Each trap features a robust, welded stainless steel thermostatic air vent along with a durable stainless steel seat and mechanism. Known for their exceptional air-handling performance, F&T traps are generally favored over inverted bucket traps in most process applications. For drip applications like draining steam mains and supply lines, the use of 1/2” and 3/4” sizes is recommended.

• Ductile Iron has a higher pressure and temperature rating and is more resistant to shock loads than cast iron.

• All stainless steel internals with hardened seat and wear parts

• In-line repairability is simplified by having all internals attached to the cover

• Excellent air handling capability allows air to be discharged rapidly so steam can enter the system quickly during start-up

• F&T traps discharge condensate immediately as it is formed (no condensate will back up into the system)

• Welded stainless steel thermostatic air vent resists shock from water hammer. Live orifice air vent is available for superheated applications
