About:
The Ambi-Regulator is a direct-operated regulator similar in design to the W91/94 Series, but without the bulb and capillary. Instead, it relies on a thermal assembly that senses ambient temperature, allowing the valve to open or close based on surrounding conditions. A common application is in steam tracing lines, where the valve automatically closes when ambient temperatures rise above a field-adjustable setpoint. The Ambi-Regulator can also serve as a freeze protection device for water lines, opening when ambient temperatures fall below the set temperature to prevent freezing.
