Direct-operated pressure regulators with heavy-duty cast iron bodies and built-in internal strainers are well-suited for a broad range of low-to-moderate flow applications. Typical uses include small heaters, humidifiers, hospital equipment, tire molds, and various other general-purpose systems. This regulator design does not require an external sensing line, simplifying installation. The set pressure is adjusted via an adjustment screw with a lock nut, which increases or decreases the spring force acting on the diaphragm. Multiple spring ranges are available to accommodate different downstream pressure requirements.
