About:
The FT601 Series Steam Traps, available in sizes from 3/4" to 2", are built with a durable stainless steel body and feature in-line repairable connectors, making them ideal for high-pressure steam applications or environments that demand stainless steel construction. These traps are commonly used in chemical plants and petrochemical refineries on reboilers, heat exchangers, and other critical process systems. Featuring a float and thermostatic (F&T) design, they provide superior air-handling capability and offer a more efficient solution than bucket traps, especially in applications requiring quick system start-up. The FT601 Series is rated for maximum steam pressures up to 450 PSIG.
Also Known As:
FT601 Series FT Steam Trap, FT601 Series Float and Thermostatic Trap, FT601 Series In-Line Repairable FT Trap, High-Pressure Float and Thermostatic Steam Trap, FT601 Series Float and Thermostatic Steam Trap.
Features:
• In-line repairability is simplified by having all internals attached to the cover. The studded cover allows for easier removal of the body.
• Welded stainless steel air vent resists shock from water hammer. Live orifice air vent is available for superheated applications
• FT traps discharge condensate immediately as it is formed (no condensate will back up into the system)
• Investment cast steel body and cover with class 400 shell rating (670 PSIG @ 750 °F)
• Hardened stainless steel seat and disc for extended service life even at extreme temperatures and pressures
• Excellent air handling capability allows air to be discharged rapidly so steam can enter the system quickly during start-up
