About:

Backpressure valves are designed to relieve upstream pressure across a wide range of processes. They automatically maintain the desired maximum pressure within a vessel or system by diverting excess pressure into a lower-pressure return line or releasing it to the atmosphere. These valves are ideally suited for pump bypass applications, helping to maintain constant pump discharge pressure. They can be used either as continuously operating valves or for intermittent protection against overpressure conditions.
