Direct-operated pressure regulators with heavy-duty cast iron bodies and integrated strainers are well-suited for a wide range of low-to-moderate flow applications. Common uses include small heaters, humidifiers, hospital equipment, tire molds, and other general-purpose systems. This regulator design eliminates the need for an external sensing line. The outlet pressure is adjusted by turning an adjustment screw with a lock nut, which increases or decreases the spring force applied to the diaphragm. Multiple spring ranges are available to suit different downstream pressure requirements.
