The direct-operated pressure regulators, featuring heavy-duty cast iron bodies and built-in internal strainers, are designed for a wide range of low-to-moderate flow applications. Common uses include small heaters, humidifiers, hospital equipment, tire molds, and various other general-purpose applications. This type of regulator operates without the need for an external sensing line. The set pressure is easily adjusted by turning an adjustment screw with a lock nut, which increases or decreases the spring force applied above the diaphragm. Multiple spring ranges are available to accommodate different downstream pressure requirements.
